Have you seen the idea of creating Fact Family Flowers? Well I did, and I would love to link you to the two blogs that I saw it on, but I can’t find them. Let me know if you have the links so I can share it! Found one of them now! Click here to find it on Primary Inspired. You can also view her latest ideas by clicking on the button below. I also found the idea on another blog probably in January, so let me know if that’s you so I can link to you, too!

Anyway, we were reviewing fact families a few weeks ago and I showed my students the fact family flowers that they were going to make. My kids, being as creative as they are, wanted to turn it into a garden. So, now we have rocks, ladybugs, butterflies, squash, strawberries, watermelon, flowers and more in our hallway! So cute if I do say so myself! Haha… can you believe that they wanted to make a squash??? Gotta love first graders!
Below you can see the garden created by my class and one of my teammate’s classes. We just put them all together to make one big garden between our doors.
